A few years ago, I was the one researching how to improve my own alignment and movement. After already having surgery on my foot, knee and last my hip in 2017, I had to figure out something. I couldn't stand the constant back and hip pain anymore. I utilized my knowledge of the human body and movement from classes in my Physical Therapist Assnt Program, Massage Therapy License and NASM Personal Training Cert and added many hours of long night self study. The KEY, see myself as a 'whole' and not 'a part'. I researched how the various joints and muscles affect each other and learned the most effective way to stretch and strengthen myself. I am proud to say, I no longer walk with my feet turned out, my pain is gone and I can comfortable stand with proper alignment.

Still hungry for knowledge, I reached out to a football trainer I knew many years ago and requested to come study live movement of athletes. Initially, I thought about helping them with recovery. After several months, 2-3 nights per week observing live and studying several hours of videos, I realized these athletes have the same issues I did. I began to study athletic injury risk and how muscular imbalances can affect the healing process. That is when I knew it was time to share my knowledge helping them ease feelings of tightness, decrease the risk of injuries and perform at their full potential. I decided I wanted to train differently. It is important to me that my clients understand what is going on in their body and to educate them on how to help themselves. It has been so exciting to hear all the different feedback from clients, various sports, from back pain being gone and feeling looser to running faster, being more explosive and improved vertical jump (touching the basketball rim for the first time).

Every day, I hear reports of numerous athletes suffering from various injuries that I truly believe could possibly have been avoided with this type of training. I wish I could reach more of you in person because I love training but unfortunately can't. Therefore, I have decided to take my sessions online. I look forward to hearing feedback from you all.
